Spring is here, and while calendars fill quickly and days blur together, this is one moment we can’t afford to rush past.

This season reminds us of the cornerstone of our faith:

The quiet grief of the cross.

The power of the resurrection.

The joy of an empty tomb.

It’s not about seasonal traditions or busy weekends.

It’s about Jesus—alive.

And because He lives, so do we.

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.”

— Matthew 28:6

Slowing Down to Remember

As the world speeds up, we choose to slow down.

Not just to prepare our homes, but to prepare our hearts.

We pause.

We reflect.

We make space to remember that God’s love was poured out so fully, so completely, that death itself was defeated.

In our home, we set aside time to talk with the kids about why this matters.

We open Scripture.

We ask questions.

We draw, color, and create—because hands-on faith sticks.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just has to be intentional.

He Is Risen!

This season, we’re using a simple coloring book called He Is Risen! to focus our hearts and hands on the truth of the resurrection.

It’s more than an activity.

It’s a visual reminder that Jesus lives.

With phrases like “Love That Conquered the Grave,” our hope is to plant seeds of truth in little hearts that grow deep roots for years to come.

The Heart of It All

Let’s hold space for what this season really means.

Let’s remember that God didn’t just promise life—He delivered it.

And in a world that often feels loud, heavy, and distracted, that truth still breaks through.

Jesus is alive.

And that changes everything.

With reverence,

And because of that, we can live with hope, with purpose, and with peace.
